How likely am I to find a laptop which could run my current hard drive?

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-C1Z/B with a Fujitsu fkl-mhv2120bh b SATA hard drive. Because the laptop is from 2006 I'm not sure whether even current Sony models would fit this because I know little about laptop HDDs (only that replacing laptop parts is very specific). Hardware problems with the laptop are such that I'm willing to replace it, but would like to easily be able to move files I need to keep from that hard drive, and use it as a backup one. I do know how to fit the hard drive and have in fact removed it already. Am I likely to find a decent laptop which works with this Fujitisu?
