How difficult is it to disassemble a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo PI2540?

We have a fujitsu siemens Amilo PI2540 laptop and there is a problem with the dc jack. We had the same problem a year ago and my wife took it to a repair shop where they charged over �100 to solder the dc jack back to the motherboard. How easy is it to dismantle this laptop to get at the motherboard. Does anyone know if there is a guide to disassembling these laptops anywhere? I am tempted to have a go at repairing it myself as we can't really justify spending over �100 on a repair again but the laptop is fine apart form the problem with the dc jack.
