Fujitsu Amilo motherboard shorted diode problem.?

Hi everyone, I was able to repair my Fujitsu amilo laptop with the dead motherboard. I noticed that the diode near to DC jack was shorted, replaced it with another diode taken from the faulty motherboard from ebay, then it works fine. Now my friend's laptop have the same problem, and it is expensive to get faulty motherboard again from ebay. Just wondering if anyone know what diode is that connected to B+ of DC jack to the ground. Is it zener? what is the value? thanks in advance.
