Question about my harddrive on my Xbox 360's compatibility with the new Xbox?

I want to play the add-on game stories for Resident Evil 5 over a friends house, only one problem; he has that new Xbox with the touch screen power button. So, is it possible bringing the add-on's to his house through my hard drive? If not, is there an alternative other than transferring all my data through a cable? How can I do this?
