How do you install an XP internal hard drive into a vista computer?

If you want to run the already installed XP on the harddrive you're more than likely going to run into a bunch of compatibility issues. Once you plug the drive in it should boot, but if it bluescreens while windows loads your SOL. If you're moving a harddrive from an AMD machine to an Intel machine it will bluescreen while windows loads, but not the other way around. Assuming you do get it to boot, go into device manager. Uninstall your hardware and reinstall the drivers from Sony's website.
